Sky Jump from the Skytower - Auckland

Jump off the Auckland Sky Tower! This unique New Zealand landmark makes the perfect location for N.Z's highest jump experience. During your Sky Tower sky jump you will fall at approx 85kph for 192 adrenalin packed metres before slowing to land gently. Ground rush is unbeatable.

Unlike bungy - there is no hanging upside down or bouncing around...You simply fall fast & smooth.... for 192m!

This is a whole new way of falling off things. Jumpers wear a "flying suit" and full body harness. They are then clipped to the jump cable by professional Jump masters and simply "step off"! The cable drum rotates as the cable feeds out, causing air resistance against fan blades on the end of the drum. This means Jumpers are effectively riding on a cushion of air. Jumpers fall very quickly until near the ground then decelerate to a safe landing speed.
